Been to the physio for my follow up this afternoon, and she's given me a big tubigrip AND a support belt to wear.... as if the crutches aren't stoopid enough!!
As long as your comfortable, that is all that matters. I totally understand about not feeling sexy. I put on a pair of non-pregger shorts the other day (elastic waistband), anyways my thighs are huge along with my belly and my husband just giggled and said "You're bringing sexy back". I know he was joking, but that did not make me feel good.
I remember the first time my boyfriend saw me when id just had the belt put on my the hospital and I was on crutches. it was also raining, my hair had gone all curly and frizzy. I looked a RIGHT mess and he laughed at me. Men!
SPD? Yup! Already been on crutches for about 4 weeks!

A tubigrip is a support bandage.... if you've ever hurt your knee or ankle or something similar, it's that elasticated bandage they put on. The one I've got is the largest size they do, and I have it from just under my bum, up to over the top of my bump and then doubled over back to my bum again... Looks like a dodgy body stocking!!!
