another yay and a big doh!

I had my hospital appointment yesturday for my GD, to go through whether i would need insulin or not...here the saga starts

I get to the hospital, drive around for thirty mins, can't park. Loads of other cars are driving round too so i figure it is never going to happen. So i drive to the hospital over the road and find a massive queue. Finally get in and find like THE LAST SPACE, and bomb it over to the maternity hospital late. Juat as i get in the door i realise, I forgot my purse! How am i going to get out of the carpark??!! So i go to grab my mobile to phone my mum to rescue me, and guess what, forgot that too!!

I find 20p!!! so i go to the phone box to call my mum. havent used one of these things since i was a kid, and guess what? the minimum is 40p these days!! what a rip!! so i go off to my appointment, hungry because i was planning on being early and eating a tuna baguette before my appointment but late and have no money to buy one Felt really dissapointed too

Got discharged from the diabetes clinic! Yay! I can control it on my own by diet so no icky needles!

Just how to get out the carpark....hmmmm....

I used the intercom on the pay machine to tell them i had no money and they told me to go to the barrier. I get to the barrier and press the intercom and some almighty impatient idiot starts honking loudly behind me yelling abuse at me! Despite the barrier next to me being empty! I couldnt hear a thingon the intercom What an idiot. I wanted to park across both the barriers and block him in until he apologised! he might have been sorry if he saw my bump.

Eventually get out scot free and irratated by rude man and hit a HUGE traffic jam..

At least the weather was nice!

Like i said...doh! Stupid preggo brain strikes again!

Great news about GD!! Pregnancy is brain can be so frustrating. I started off for the grocery last night and luckily remember just as I was leaving the house that I did not have my money with me- it was in my other bag from the night before when I went swimming. Thanked God I remembered- I'd have been so embarassed to get all the way through checkout to realize I had no money!!!! Glad you made out though!
