Jen, my LO engaged really early, at 31-32 weeks, so now there is NO doubt that it is even more engaged now. I can feel it down there, so I would not be at all surprised if it was all the way down.

Emma, in the US it works totally differently. We do not have midwife run pre-natal care. I am a birthing rebel, and have opted out of the medical community and sought a midwife. So all my care has been with her, and only her. It is wonderful because I have been able to build a relationship with her, that is trusting and caring and I have total faith in her and know she will be amazing during my birth. I do not regret for a second going with what is considered in the US to be alternative care.

That's great you've had the same midwife look after you throughout, I have a feeling your labour is gonna be fantastic and so natural. x

Thank you love. I sure hope so. Considering I will be at home, I doubt it could get much more natural. Unless I opt to head to the backyard, but I doubt my neighbors would like that.

Just think if you had your own outdoor pool in your backyard.....a home water birth.
