The doc said I was 1 cm. dilated 80% effaced and baby's head is at -2 station! A big change since last week when my cervix was only soft. If I don't to before then I am scheduled to go in Monday, May 12th for an induction (1 day past my due date)! I am so excited! I'm ready to have her. BTW- I know some people are against the whole induction thing but I don't want to wait too long...to the point where she is too big and that makes the difference between a C-Section and a Vaginal delivery. The doc made me have a contraction- he did something weird with his finger...I didn't even know that was possible. He did it twice so now I know what they feel like...it feels like really bad back cramps-like period cramps...it brought tears to my eyes. Now I kind of know what I'm in for.
Sounds a bit scary. Although I geuss it's good to know what you're waiting for!
