Ok so the plan was a few days maybe a week after LO arrives our plans were to travel to see my family who are all 4hrs away well now we are living with my OH parents which hasn`t been to bad only i`m sick of hearing "are you ok". Well my MIL doesn`t think it is a very good idea to go away that soon. I find it really difficult to know what to do this has been our plan for some time i think my family has the right to have us down there not long after she is born.
I`m really stuck for what to do and another thing is when i go into labour my mum is going to travel up to be with me and now we are living with my in laws she doesn`t feel comfortable staying out here.
I really just don`t know what to do.

Tell her you appreciate her opinion but you feel it will be fine, it has been your plan and your family deserves to see the baby as soon as possible too. Good luck!

It all depends on how you feel, it is the perfect time to take the LO away as they sleep the most at that time. We are going to Sweden a month after he is born with him and the MW said it's he best time as you will be "used" to him then and he won' cause a big fuss as long as he is fed as usual
