Angry

missed my doc appointment!!..

damnit. Pregnancy brain has truely taken over. I received a call from the receptionist asking if I'd forgotten my appointment this morning ----i was convinced it was tomorrow....bugger!

Luckily they can fit me in this afternoon at 5.30 so it's not a disaster but I couldnt believe it! What a fool i am - and I SO look forward to these appointments too!!!! Today we were meant to be measuring baby...i hope there will still be time this afternoon!...

They also want to "discuss my gestational diabetes test". oooh sounds ominous....

i'm now worrying excessively about this blood sugar thing...doc sort of mused that i had a lot of amniotic fluid last time I had a scan but didnt say it was a worry...i read that could be a symptom of GD.....but i cant give up sweeties - this baby LOVES them!...
ooh fingers crossed for me.

turns out baby is fine. GD test fine. Measurements fine. I ws worrying about nothing.

He's about 1.5 kilos (3.3 lbs?) and if anything he is measuring around 6 days older than we thought. Except his legs which are on target - so it looks like he'll be a little short fellow with a lovely chubbly belly!!
