I'm Currently Feeling: 



Ok Ladies.....get this...

Well, today I had my final ultrasound to check the weight of our LO. If you remember, four weeks ago, she weighed 6.5 lbs. They wanted to check to make sure she wasn't still rapidly gaining weight and as of today; Valerie now weighs 8 lbs. 14 oz. I STILL HAVE A WEEK TO GO!! I am 5'2" and prepregnancy weighed 120 lbs. I really don't know how I am going to push this little girl out. I have an appointment Thursday with the doctor to dicuss induction options. The doctor said that if I want to have the best chance for a natural birth; she I thinks I should really be induced Thursday night/Friday morning. Just because if I go a week over my due date, I could technically still have two weeks left and she could be 10 lbs by then.

Anyway, they got some great pictures of LO. She snuck in a 3D scan pic, which we thanked her very much for since we had not gotten one. She has such chunky cheeks, she looked like a squirrel packing nuts in her cheek for winter. How am I going to be able to get this girl out of me? Here is the 3D pic...she has her father's large nose...hahaha! Sorry for the glare!

Jenny, your body is totally capable of opening up and delivering that baby. It is what it was made to do, remember that, believe that, and do not let it go. I have total faith in your body, as much as I have in my own in being able to bring our babies into this world.

That is the most encouraging thing anyone has said to me today....thank you so much. If I do go in for induction this weekend; keep your phone by you, hehe!

Good luck! My family has large babies, so I'm preparing for that too. My sister had her baby at 36 weeks and she was 8 14!

YOUR DAUGHTER IS ABSOLOUTELY GORGEOUS!
And I know what you mean about the big baby thing - I'm preparing myself for the worst, the father of my son was a huge baby, and his grandfather was either 12 or 14 lbs. GOOD GOD!
