Random questions for Canada girls

Well as most of you know I'm originally from the US, so I really only know how the whole birthing/hospital experience here is in Canada We have a hospital tour scheduled for next month but I like to be prepared so here are some really random questions for you girls.

1) Did you take a nightgown/shirt to give birth in at the hospital?
2) Did you need to take diapers up with you or are they provided at the hospital?
3) How many clothes/receiving blankets do you need to take up for the baby?

That's it for now. I'm sure I'll have many more later as I think of them

1) Did you take a nightgown/shirt to give birth in at the hospital? I took a few long maternity shirts to give birth at the hospital. They offered me a hospital gown but I ended up giving birth in just my own shirt.

2) Did you need to take diapers up with you or are they provided at the hospital? I took a package of diapers to be safe, but the diapers we ended up using were ones provided by the hospital. All hospitals are different though so to be safe you should definitely bring a pack. If you plan on using Baby Wipes I suggest you bring a pack as well. They didn't provide wipes but did however provide those cloth squares to wipe her (I can't remember what they're called--- Muslin Squares??)

3) How many clothes/receiving blankets do you need to take up for the baby? I took about 3 receiving blankets, 3 onesies, 3 sleepers, and a take home outfit. To be honest-- the only thing I used was the take home outfit. Aspen was dressed in gowns from the hospital and they also just used the receiving blankets from the hospital as well. Overall most of my baby things went untouched! My bag was still completely intact when I got home lol.
