me me me me me!
Only lying on my side is causing my hip sockets to be very sore by the morning. If I can't get to sleep, I end up tossing and turning - and if you're like me, that's not an easy thing.
A toss and turn, ends up looking more like:
1. Contemplate which body part is strongest to initiate motion.
2. Lift knees slightly to brace for flip.
3. Grab anything that is tied securely for leverage.
4. Shift either upper half or lower half of body to opposite hip (I usually do lower half first).
5. Catch breath
6. Wait out a BH
7. Shift other half of body to same side.
8. Finish catching breath, try to close eyes and go back to sleep as heart is racing, and another BH is just finishing.
9. Baby wakes up and spends next 5 mins finding new sleeping spot in very cramped abdomen.
10. Oh, damn. I gotta pee AGAIN.
By the time morning rolls around, my pubic bone and hips are so sore! I'm almost glad to get up and start the day.
Almost.
But we're counting off a few weeks now, not months, and that is a small consolation
Thank god I have a Dr. appointment today... makes the weeks go by a little faster having a checkup every 7th day.
