Just wondered when you start having these done? I've got a 32 week appointment with my midwife on tuesday and just wondered if she'd do one then?

32 weeks is a little early so probably not. It seems to vary between MW's so ask her when she will start when you go. Good luck!

I've had 4 boys, 3 in the uk and one in germany and the only time i had internals was when i went overdue and they did a membrane sweep, and again in labour.

ive never had one done and im 41 weeks now xxx

the first one that my dr does is at 39 weeks unless stuff starts happening beforehand.

I don't think you would have one quite yet unless they have reason to think you may go into preterm labour. I never had any until I went into labour, but every GP and MW is different

Iv got my 38 week appointment coming up and iv never previously had to have one xx

Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure if we had them in the UK like in the US.

I've only had them at the hospital if theres been a problem. Haven't had one from my MW yet though. I dread the day that I do, she's rough enough trying to get blood out of my arm, I don't think i want to let her loose down there!
