Strange question

For those of you ladies who have had your LOs, did labor contractions hurt in your butt?? I know that sounds weird but right now when I get one it feels like a ton of pressure in that region. Just wondering

That is the thing about contractions, everyone feels something different. I would say that pressure in your bottom is a really good sign. My MW said if you are having pains, even if you think it is not a 'contraction', if it is getting LONGER-STRONGER AND CLOSER TOGETHER, then that is your labor.

A totally crazy example my MW had was she had one women, who only felt her contractions in her right big toe. NO where else. The poor woman was begging them to cut it off she is hurting so bad. So you never know.

I felt a lot of pressure in my butt area but I wouldn't say that it hurt.

That is crazy!

I honestly can't really remember what labor felt like last time. Once she was born, it all faded away to only a vague recollection. I kind of remember a lot of pressure between my legs, like I had to have a huge BM and some period-like pains. I'm convinced that this pregnancy will in all likely-hood be completely different though.

Hope this is it for you though. I know you are ready

Well the contractions I'm getting feel like very bad period pains but I go have a lot of pressure in that area too and it can hurt. I keep sitting on the toilet, thinking I need to go but can't and it's very uncomfortable but the MW today told me it's probably babys head pushing down.
