Just wondering if any of you are considering being induced and have you discussed this with your doctor?

I also wanted to send you all big big and to tell you not to be depressed that the baby is a little late. I know I was extremely cranky and in a shitty mood for the entire week I was over, but that mood is now just a distant memory.

You can all do it, and I cannot wait to see your babies!

aww thanks hun, i went for my 40 week appointment last monday on my due day and my mw just said i have till next thursday if i havnt had him i have to phone the hospital at 7.30 to go in and be induced she didnt give me any other options at all though so im just waiting and hoping he comes soon xxx

I had my 40 week appt on Tuesday and I am 2.5cm and 80% effaced with a very favorable cervix so my doc said she thinks I will go into labor on my own, but Im starting to wonder. I have an appt on Wednesday to have a non stress test and ultrasound done to make sure the baby is doing ok and that the fluid isnt low or my placenta isnt aging. If I havent had him by then I am going to ask to be induced either that day or the day after (thursday) because my inlaws are leaving town for a week on Saturday and we want them to be there when he is born. So, the wait continues...
