It's official - I am a worried, paranoid, nervous, 1st time mother......

I spent almost the whole day at the hospital yesterday. Since Tuesday I hardly felt my baby move and was put on a monitor Wednesday and asked to return yesterday. I had my glucose tolerance test in the morning and in between, my baby's heart was monitored. The midwife ordered a doppler and measurement of fluid around the baby via a scan, which I had yesterday afternoon. And, all is well.

It seems my son has moved and due to my anterior placenta, I am not feeling him as much now. My glucose test came back normal and my baby weighs 2.6 pounds and I reach 28 weeks tomorrow. I was told he was at the large end of the scale for his age, but the midwife said all was fine. Doppler showed up things are well, there is good fluid and I do not have diabetes. It seems I just have a big baby. And I am only 5'2"! How am I going to carry him without ???

You will be fine hun!

Glad he is ok. Its better to be too worried than not worried at all! I think we are all going through that over cautious stage at the mo! Take care and try not to worry yourself!

It is so hard not to worry all the time, I totally understand that! So glad to hear that all is well.

I bet you feel like popping! And your LO is slow in coming out. Maybe it is a bit too comfy in there!

But yes, I do hope his growth slows down a bit. My fiance is so going to suffer for this!

It is all maternal instinct! When they are born you will do anything to protect them, so you are even worse when you cant see them!!
