Really worried, please don't feel you have to read as may be upsetting/worrying

Firstly am so sorry for posting this as I know it is worrying and even silly but have scared myself stupid reading the reduced fetal movement sticky. Two poor poor ladies have posted giving their experiences about reduced movement where unfortunately the movement they were feeling was baby floating in water rather than actual movements. Now I'm worried as baby has no real pattern and how would I be able to tell thedifference? Feel horrid posting this as know it will scare some but am driving myself crazy! Sorry!

I have frightened myself before now by reading that thread - it is not a good one in my opinion as it does scaremonger too much I think.
That said, of course it is there with the best of intentions and does contain valuable information.
If you are concerned about your babys movement, you should contact your midwife straight away. She should be able to arrange to see you and/or have an ultrasound which will hopefullly put your mind at rest.

you should feel kicks still rolls isnt enough at all, my baby was still moving but only rolling was sent home and ignored that he wasnt kicking and next day he was gone

we are not making you aware you scare anyone but to make people aware and if it seems us "crazy ladies" can just give a little experience and it saves ones babies life i feel like my sons life was not in vain

if your not getting kicks strong ones dont even bother posting here people shouldnt be asking as tend to get the response oh baby is just running out of room, thats not true you baby should still be very active, you should always go to hospital for reduced fetal movement no questions asked

if you need any help / advice, if i can help i will. remember babies shoudl still kick upto labour, just be aware, dont be scared xx

try not to let it worry you..I know this is easier said than done..as I have done nothing but worry and constantly obsess about my babies movements...I think in the later stages you would know its baby moving on their own because you will feet things like a bum shape suddenly push up or a foot jab in your ribs..which wouldnt happen if it was just baby floating around

That thread is there to make people aware and not to scaremonger. I find that a little offensive tbh. I wish to god I had of know those signs before I lost Devin. If it even helps one person it's worth it. But instead people would rather put their heads in the sand and ignore things because they don't want to admit something might be wrong.

Yes, I understand what you are saying, the point I was making was that it does scare people - it scared me, and it scared the OP of this thread. I am very sorry that you have had such a dreadful experience with Devin and think it is very kind of you to want to potentially warn other people.
Some of us are more affected by warnings than others, and as I said, the thread scared me when I read it.

my baby doesnt "kick" out as much but still moves pretty vigorously..ie she will punch me in the bladder and and rolls around, stretching out and forcing her bum up! when she is in full wriggle mode its very uncomfortable...
yesterday I actually went to labour ward because she was very quiet and I was worried sick..of course as soon as they put me on the trace she went mad..moving all over the place but the MW said I absoloutely did the right thing and I wouldnt hesitate to go again if I was worried..as it is..due to other health complications..am being monitored 3 x weekly anyway.

As Jess said..babies still kick up to delivery..my 9 year old son was actually kicking me as he was being born!!

i found it quite offensive also, lets live in rose tinted world where my baby didnt exist .

I say what i say to educate and prevent, how people react is not my fault, can understand peoples fears when reading the loss of our little ones. I was not offended by OP post but try to make her see we do it for the chance to saves a babies life not scare

you'll find there are not quite a few ladies who have lost late in third trimester now as have been blessed with our little life savers and the worry you may have now and again, we have every minute of every day.

so have a think about your responses and choice of words, its not fair to us, a post like this means we end hiding back in stillbirth section because we feel we cant post here for fear of upset and it isnt fair.
