Lots of venous congestion, lots of pressure from the weight of baby/amniotic fluid/ uterus etc., progesterone acting on the ligaments and joints of our pelvis, and the way we walk now all contributes to that achey feeling down there.
The further baby drops, the more you are likely to feel it. I had it pretty good till about 4 days ago when LO decided to explore getting out and shoved her head into my pelvis

.
One thing I've noticed though, that I really didn't expect... I hurt more in the morning, or after lying on my side, than I do after sitting or walking around.

No clue why that might be...
Anyway, I love the feeling cuz I know we're getting close.
Now you all can flog me with a wet noodle in 5 weeks when I'm bitching about the pain/pressure and still haven't popped
