38 Week Appoinment

Okay so the stringy dishcharge was not my plug ...the doc said my cervix isn't even opening yet but very soft. She said it was normal for the discharge to do that. I thought for sure I would be dilated a little. I was totally surprised! I was like then what was that in my panties then?! She said I may have to be induced ...I felt like crying. I feel like a big dummy. I know I have been having a lot of BH's lately but apparently nothing "real" yet. She said that it doesn' t really matter and that I may dilate in the next few days...who knows. Well the good news is...that I've decided to take my maternity leave early. I was going to work up until May 9th the Friday before my due date but I decided to work until this Friday, May 2nd. So I can have a week to myself getting ready for the baby and resting.

You still have weeks, don't let her tell you that you may have to be induced, you LO knows when the time is right!

Why is she already talking about induction? You still have just under 2 weeks til your due date anyway, a lot can happen in that time! Dont let her induce you early, like Sam said, your little one will come when its ready.

Im glad your appt went well other than that though
