I have all the basics, cradle, crib, car seat, things like that. I have not bought many clothes, since I don't know if I am having a boy or girl. I have not bought anything, aside from the crib, that I feel I won't be using right away. I figure a high chair can wait.

Elles!! You need to get a move on! But I don't think you should be out walking around doing all that shopping with being on bedrest, hopefully you can find what you like online

We've actually gotten quite a bit, but that's because I knew (for us) it was better to buy a little bit at a time, rather than all in one chunk--because it would be hard to get all the money together at once.

We've got:

stroller/carseat (which was a gift)
crib (used--was given to us)
playpen (another gift--but not one I really wanted )
bedding
tons of clothes
bottles
diapers
receiving blankets, and fleece blankets
quite a lot more too but I can't think of it all right now

There are still items we need to pick up though, more diapers, formula, bathing things, laundry soap etc.

Honestly we probably wouldn't be but just can't afford to buy it all in one month, plus we rely on public transit for everything and I can't imagine having to go through and get everything in one go! That'd make for a very very long weekend

We have only bought the pram and camper cot. Had to buy it quickly as they were running out of stock of the ones we wanted.

Besides that the only thing I've bought is 1 baby grow and I only have 4 weeks left until my due date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starting to panic here.

Like Vickie we've been spreading the buying to spread the cost.
still got couple fo thinsg to buy..plus more I've probably not evn thought about:
Cotbed matress
some nursery furniture
nappy bucket
bouncy chair
baby bath

Oh and I want a divider - I've seen them on the mothercare website I think - something that divides the cotbed to make it much smaller for when baby is it in and teeny weeny. It is hard and attached to the bars fo teh cotbed.....any idea hwere else I can buy one of these anyone? They seem very expensive on mothercare for what they are

Lets see... we have a bassinet for our room, crib for hers, with mattress and bedding, plenty of newborn size clothes and working now on 3mos and up, tons of booties/socks and blankets, carseat, stroller. But there's still so much i feel we need! We still need to stock up on diapers and wipes (we are on a military base and they run out of alot of stuff pretty often it seems) and I have found a changing table/dresser that we can only order online. We also need a monitor and the silly things like wall decorations and such.
some of you ladies seem sooo organized, i'm ashamed that i don't have everything as together as you lol!
