Ive just started using it....

put 6 drops in the bath

or you can mix it with a carrier oil (baby oil/olive oil/even veg oil).... 10mls of carrier oil with 5 drops of clary sage... and massage it into your bump/lower back as its supposed to stimulate the womb!

its also supposed to be useful as an analgesic during labour - the smell makes me a bit loopy and high!

Put a few drops in a base oil - almond oil etc - then get OH to massage belly with it.

me me i swear by it lol (hi Dee ** waves!!**) im always going on about it lol

i swear its that that started me off with my little man in November 2008. I put about 4 or 5 drops in the bath. I then started in full labour a few hours later!!! its an anaglesic/has a sedative effect too, which can help calm you

you can also use it in labour to inhale on a sponge or flannel, or rub it into your bump it can help speed things up - you can also mix it with lavender or jasmine either one of these im using them all this time round. I didnt use it in labour with lewis but def am this time!!

Dee hope it works for you hun xxxx

Jen x

I've got some that I'm planning on using.. but I've been too scared so far as I've got no idea what I'm doing! I'm sceptical that it'll have much effect though- I've had no signs of impending labour yet

I have jasmine oil too - so is it OK to mix it with clary sage and carrier oil and rub it on my bump??? x

I made a bump rub with clary sage and lavender in some sweet almond oil. It didnt do anything but it was very nice! I also put it with lavender in the bath water

You can also put it in an oil burner/diffuser thing, or put drops onto a lightbulb - when you switch the light on it will fragrance the room.

hmm is this stuff all ok to use when you don't want to go into labour yet? I've just had a bath with clary sage and lavender as a sleep well bubble bath, and then I just moisturised all of with the same stuff (body lotion not bubble bath!),

Anyone know if that's ok or should I not use this stuff? Hope that's not a silly question.
