Virus / infection in 3rd Tri

Hi Ladies,

I am concerned as I have had a virus for 3 weeks now. Been back and fore to Dr and he's now given me Amoxycillin as it might be an infection.

I'm so fed up with it tho, is this normal to have such a low immune system in 3rd tri? I just want to feel well again! only 7 weeks until baby arrives...

yeah its is normal to have a lower immune system in pregnancy particulaly in 3rd tri because the baby is making more and more demands on you, im on ammoxicillin because of an ear infection myself at the moment and have had bad health all winter, at least i know i only have 9 days before this baby is coming out one way or another now,

id try to make sure you up your fruit and vege intake as much as possible and get plenty of sleep and rest and fresh air

I got a sinus infection and an ear infection a few weeks ago..I have not had an ear infection since I was in highschool! Weird!

I've certainly not breezed through this pregnancy like some people have!
