Question

Anyone else SORE????

Ok My whole left upper side by my ribs are soo SORE!!!!... I don't know if its how baby is laying or what?? But its been sore for a few weeks now and I keep forgetting to tell the Doctor!!.. I go back on Wednesday so I'll be sure to remember this time... but I think its how baby is laying right?? How else would I be so sore??? It feels bruised!! hurts to touch! its very much annoying!! but I am told baby is head down and I'm being kicked all on my right side... which I can tell thats true for sure!

Just wondering if this is normal ????

I have this but on my right side, in one very specific place about the size of a deck of cards. My OB said it was a torn muscle (apparently where an abdominal muscle attaches to my ribcage).

I'ts hurts a lot. I was advised to use heat compresses for the pain, and wrap my chest in an ACE bandage to give the area some stability.

Nothing will help until I have baby, and in all likelyhood will probably get worse.

Hope you're feeling better!

I have sore spots and they're usually where she is most active that day/week! I guess they're getting pretty squished in there (and much stronger!).

I have to agree with you Toria about them getting stronger. I am absolutely amazed at the strength this little girl has when she kicks her foot out my right side. I can tell it's her heel sticking out and when I try to lightly push it back in, she gives me a walloping kick that doubles me over. Hmm...it makes me wonder if she is going to be a hellion child

As far as the soreness goes, I have this too. Only on my right side. Sleeping at night and waking up in the morning, I constantly feel like I just ran a marathon. I think our bodies are just to the point where soreness, exhaustion, and pain are taking over.

I get the exact same pain but on my lower right rib area and sometimes it goes straight rounf to my back at the same level. I asked my MW about it and she said its definately not the babies feet and that mine is due to the weight on y spine and the front trying to counteract the effect on my spine or something.....then she basically said it was something i would have to put up with.
I find that if i sit up real straight on a hard chair and rock back and forward like a loon it eases it a bit

haha I didn't mean to garner sympathies... *(but thanks for them anyhoo )

I just wanted to let you know if it's localized pain that doesn't seem to go away, that it might be something like a sprained muscle or bruised rib or something.

Heat really does help as does the binding.

OHHH MAY please go quickly. I want my body back.

I have sore spots as well. One just to the left and above my bellybotton has been killing me, and of course my LO loves rubbing it's bum back and forth on that area. Stinky baby!!!

I've got a sore spot too, on my left side, feels like a huge bruise...figure it's just from her pushing out there a lot. They'll be here SOON though!
