anybody had/have preeclampsia

Just a question about one of the symptoms
could anyone describe what sort of flashing things you see in your eyes,
ive been seeing like white dots which dart around
but this isnt a new thing its happened several times mostly when ive being jumping around or doing handstands but over the past few weeks its happened randomly ..

just a bit advice, should i be worried or is this someting totally different

hi

i had pre eclampsia and had an emergency c section on sunday at 27 weeks. i woke with a blinding headache and my fingers were so swollen i couldn't bend them. the flashing lights were last to start and it was like looking at a starry sky with the stars flashing.

the headache got even worse after that. luckily i was already in hospital for constant monitoring of me and the baby and she was delivered 3 hours after things got really bad

please get checked out, it can be dangerous and can get worse so fast. i thought they were fussing over nothing but i am so glad they did fuss and sophie and i are both ok. she is in scbu but doing well.

even if it turns out to be nothng you are better to get checked. pm me if you want

When i had them i would describe it as driving through the snow at night... or stars zipping towards you... but i think any visual disturbance is bad!
