I only have a few small ones on the sides of my bump - my mum was covered though so I fully expect them to emerge at some point over the next 5 weeks!

Not to scare you but...I got my first one on my belly at 29 weeks and from them they've spread like wildfire xx

SMs can come at any stage. Mine came at about 20 weeks, and have just grown since. Make sure you keep moisturising, but I don't think that will prevent them either. You may be lucky and not get any, but if you will get them, I don't think bio oil will do much. If you get them, and they're itchy, moisturising helps soothe the irritation.

I've got them on my hips and legs, which I don't mind too much because they'll fade, it's the belly ones I'm worrying about mostly.. think it's only a matter of weeks for me though!!

I'm almost 36 weeks and I noticed my first ones at the weekend - they are tiny and on my hips - about three on each hip (at least they're symmetrical!!) The thing is I have hardly put weight on my hips but my bump is getting really extremely heavy so I'm thinking maybe it's the sheer weight of carrying (I'm carrying all on the front). Two nights ago I noticed some very thin marks on my boobs too but they are hardly noticable. I keep slathering on the Bio Oil and body butter. I had nothing until last weekend though (so 35 weeks).

I'm 38 weeks and only got one so far, it appeared a few weeks ago.. it's quite funny really, looks very random near my belly button. Just hoping none of its buddies will make an appearance..

I started getting them a couple weeks ago right underneath my bump after it had a rather immense growth spurt! I thought i might escape cos my mum hasnt got a single one after 4 kids but noooooooooooooo. I dont mind though, they're not bad at the moment and i'll quite happily still wear bikinis on the beach even if i get covered in them!
