Just popped over from 2nd tri to ask a Q=] ** UPDATE ** Please read


hi ladies i went to the hospital because i didnt feel any movement and my babys heart beat was 192 beats per minute.. is that high? was your babys heart rate ever that high?

Yes, that's quite high. What did the hospital say about it?

My baby is usually around 148bpm which is average/on the lower side.

thats quite high hun, i had my 28 week scan on mon and the babys was 139bpm and my sonographer said thats perfectly fine for the baby, its usually between that an 150bpm depending on what ive done before hearing it.

like aliss said what did ur hosp say about it? xxx

when I went in to get monitored little mans was 145 bpm but when he was having a wiggle it went up to 190 bpm was your lo's at 192 bpm the whole time? if the hospital were worried they would have kept you in hun x

wel when i asked the women if everything was ok she said well your babys alive and even if something was wrong we wouldnt be able to do anything about it.. and they was laughing that i went in when i was only 18 weeks.. xx

OMG!!!! how bloody rude I would of got their names and complained I can't believe that, baby might have been wiggling around which will make his/her heart rate higher if you have been having no pain or bleeding try not to worry too much as I'm sure it's all fine did they not write a baseline heart rate in your notes? xx

omg they actually said that to you? thats awful, as if you needed to hear that? was that in the maternity hospital? xxx

fh 192bpm.
patient-88bpm. home. advised to call labour ward 1st instead of just turning up.

even that sounds rude! but 192 bpm is high how long did they monitor your for? if it was me I'd ring my mw and ask if she could see me she will listen to babies heartbeat and tell you the heart rate I have to say all of the mw's and labour ward have been great with me and if someone laughed at me when I was worried about little man they would be on the floor x

ye it the maternity centre. the women were really rude,
