whats happening to me ?

i went to sleep at about 10.30 last night, and i woke up about 7 to go to the toilet (i normally wake up about twise a night). as soon as i got back to bed i feel asleep and didn't wake up untill 10.30! this is very unlike me. i usually am up by 7 in the morning.

then i woke up, had a cuppa and cleaned the whole bathroom - scrubbing places that weren't even dirty, then moved onto the kitchen. i am a clean freak.. i clean an awful lot, but today was an extreme amount!!
so i take it thats just the nesting kind of stage...

but now after finishing cleaning the house, i am getting ready to go to the midwife. i have loads of energy. i have the radio on really load, and i am dancing and singing!!! normally i would struggle walking up the stair, but i just can't seem to stop.

what is happening to me?

i thought that before you go into labour you have a crap sleep, and you have no energy and feel really run down ???

I thought it was the opposite.... Good rest then sudden burst of energy. Could be baby brain mixing things up for me tho

Sounds like wee man could be making a show soon! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

on the contrary..its not unusual to have a burst of energy before going into labour as the nesting instinct kicks in..

With my first child..I manically cleaned the house from top to bottom then went into labour that night..so hopefully this is a good sign for you!

Yep! before labour burst of energy. I cldn't sleep the night I went into labour with my son!

i heard you get a brust of energy to! i had the best sleep ive had for ages last night! and woke up with contractions fingers crossed for you! x

oh i really hope this is the start of something. im only one day over due and it's sooooo annoying!!! i really REALLY don't want to wait much longer!

With Mills i cleaned house from top to bottom, did all the washing etc went to bed around midnight and waters started leaking at 3.30am
