Things seemed to be going so well, but in the space of a week i have found my first stretch mark lol which isnt actually too bad, and my routine trip to the midwife i had protein in my urine....two weeks from the end i thought it was going so well lol!
Blood pressure seemed fine, so she asked me if i have had any stinging or pain when going to the toilet to rule out a urine infection, which i have not been getting . So that was ruled out.
She gave me a leaflet on pre eclampsia and asked me a few questions about other symptoms and if i had been getting any of them.
So i have been getting headaches and dots in front of my eyes (dots only a few times) and the pain on my right side just under my ribs, kind of my kidneys it was soooo bad it woke me up at around 3am, it really hurt i went to the toilet and seemed to ease off. My midwife did mention a kidney infection. I really didnt put this down to anything at all other than your average pain in pregnancy that we all seem to get lol, i put it down to baby position etc. I didnt even think anything of it until the next day at my midwifes appointment and she asked me if i had been getting that, which i had!
She said if it happens again i am to ring hospital and go in for monitoring, even if the number i ring says out of hours and it has to be an emergency etc, that she would class this as an emergency and would want me to go in.

I had to give her another pee sample which she will send off results will be back on friday when she will ring me then to be give me the results, she did say she is still not ruling out a urine infection or kidney infection etc, because my blood pressure was still ok!!
I had the pain in my right side last night as well but it wasnt all that painful and every so often i get a dull ache, i am not sure how painful its meant to be before i ring and go in?? I feel a bit silly though as my blood pressure was ok yesterday and my midwife did not actually say it was pre eclampsia.
Has any of you ladies experienced anything like this? I had not knowing if there is anything wrong! xx

hiya chicken. Im getting all my blood results back for pre eclampsia, so i know how youre feeling.
If youre having any floaters or headaches i would phone your midwife or the ward just to be safe.
I know this isnt much advice but ill keep my fingers crossed for you xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey, I had protien in my water for about two weeks, and the first time I had higher blood pressure than normal for me so she warned me of pre eclampsia and asked to see me again in about 3 days so I came home googled it all and got in a right stress I went back, still had it in my water but blood pressure was normal so they sent my wee off to be tested and that came back normal to, it just dissapeared the next time I saw my midwife so it's just turned out to be nothing at all and everything is fine.
Try not to worry too much, it's probably just an infection.

floaters arent always a sign hun! i have them related to allergies and the consultant said he wouldnty class a floater as anything to worry about its flashing white dots that you need to worry about! and blinding headaches! try not to stress as that will only make your blood prezssure higher your nearly full term now so baby will be fine! remeber its natural for blood pressure to go higher at the end to! x

try not to worry, i am currently being monitored for my bp and i keep getting different levels of protein,

the headaches could be caused by worry tp hun and that can cause floaters try so relaxation techniques and so aromatherapy oils! x
