baby outfit for coming home


hi ladies,

if you have your outfit for bringing baby home from hospital, where did you get it from? i've got a few nice things but want to get something with matching hat and built in scratch mitts!!

I know its not for every one but I made mine its hot hot here in the summer time so I made him some cute little shorts with matching t shirt and hat and bought some cute white socks

I got a lovely baby blue 1 from a shop in the next town to me it has a lil teddy on it saying mummy loves me & i picked up the same shade of blue hat from asda saying i love mummy,his wee socks are blue aswell saying i love mummy & so does his wee bootie type slippers/shoes

ive got a white baby grow that says MUMMY'S NEW MAN on it white mits white hat and a wee blue knitted cardigan have a snow suit that looks like a bear aswell because its freezing here so im thinkin he will need one tho i heard girls in my ante natal classes saying they were glad they were due in april cause they wouldnt put a snow suit on the baby...hmm xx

Had someone from work buy me a babygrow which came with matching mittens, hat and bibs it's from Marks and spencers.

got afew little cute things from next and supermarkets, i may sound stupid as this is my first but how do you know what size to take i have 6-7 pounds but what if shes over that do you need to take afew different sizes or do they give you a rough idea how much your baby will weigh????? sorry if i sound daft lol xxxx

Aparently its very rare that a baby goes straight in too 0-3 months even if they only fit in newborn for the first week or whatever, im just taking newborn If i do have a huuuge baby my mum will grab me some bigger baby grows xx

I'm thinking the same too lol. The ones I have packed are upto 8lbs but I have some that are upto 9 or 10lbs so if it's a big baby I'll have to send someone to get the bigger ones or something
