I'm Currently Feeling: | What would you do? Ugh. This has been a horrible day for me. From yesterday at 2pm until right now, I have been having ongoing horrible menstrual cramps that started in my lower back and have came around to my groin area. They calmed down a little last night and let me sleep for a couple hours. This morning they were back and before I left for the store, I had gone #2 four times from the amount of pressure I was feeling on that area. This morning I was feeling regular contractions along with my cramps, but around lunch the contractions went away, now I'm left with only the cramps, which are horrrrible. I've tried sleeping, doesn't do anything, I'm still in pain. I have no appetite and even if I did, I'm sure I'd shit it out anyway. Excuse the language....I'm in a bad mood, lol.
I used my doppler to listen in on baby and she sounds fine with a steady heartbeat of 145 or so. But her movements have decreased alot today from what they usually are. What is going on? I've been to the damn hospital so much this pregnancy that I'm trying to not go....so what would you do? Any advice? Anything will help right now. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As much as you dont want to go I would say you should definatly at least call your MW or Doctor and let them know whats going on. Especially if her movement has decreased significantly. Are you getting at least 10 kicks in 2 hours? I would give them a call and they will probably have you come in to be monitored, it would be best to go in and at least have it checked out, just in case.
Hope you start feeling better , maybe this is the beginning of labor and you will be lucky and have her early and not have to get to the last horrible 2 weeks of pregnancy. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hope you start feeling better soon hun I would at least call your doctor and see what s/he advises and maybe go in and get checked out by them today if you don't want to go to the hospital. For now go take a bath in warm water. Also if your having low movement as much as you don't want to you need to eat a bit because not eating will cause your movements to slow down. My doctor has been having me eat and drink a full glass of water then lay on my left side and count for two hours. I have to get at least 6 kicks during that period or I have to go into the labor ward. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would give the MW a call and just clue her in to what is going on. Sounds like you are ramping up to get ready. As difficult as it may be, it is so important for you to rest, eat and keep your fluids up. This can make all the difference to how you will feel during labor. If you wear yourself out now, and lose energy by avoiding food, it will make your labor much more difficult. Just try eating really bland stuff, mashed potatoes, broth, and such. Have a bath, and try to rest for a bit. Good luck love, I really hope you get to feeling better. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks for the advice ladies, I think I'm going to go try and eat something and see how much movement I can get out of her. Then I will call my doctor and just tell her what is going on. Is this normal to have the menstrual cramps ongoing? I mean, they are not letting up one bit like a contraction would...it is just constant. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | From some of my reading Jenny, it can be the start of labor. It can also last a few days, so that is why I was saying you need to try to eat, drink and rest as much as possible so you don't exhaust yourself before labor actually gets going. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hopefully it's the start of labour but I'd speak to the midwife just to make sure. Sounds like you could well be the next birth announcement we have on here though!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It would be nice....lol.....I just want to know if something is going to happen or not. I hate this constant pain without knowing if it's teasing or the real thing. Argh! haha... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If I want some movement out of my baby,I just drink ice cold water. Then you just see my tummy shaking from all the kicks! Quite amusing actually. |
