discharge question lol

all day yesterday i was losing bits of my plug and had streaking red blood bits and sometimes a wee bit of pink discharge. didnt lose much, but a few globby snotty thick bits with streaky blood in it. no more has come today but i have noticed i have been leaking ALOT of discharge, throughout yesterday and today it keeps feeling wet down below when i stand up and leaves huge wet patches on my knickers. it's extremely clear and fluid like but a wee bit thicker than fluid if that makes sense, like if i touch it it will kind of stretch in between my fingers (had to check it out lol). i keep feeling little leaks and trickles of it coming out and it smells sorta bleachy like, almost like sperm does!! I've had a shower even so i'm clean! And no i havnt had sex for it to be doing that lol. it's a pain, is this just one of those things that happen near the end?

And sorry i am not going to say TMI as i don't think it is- as this is a pregnancy forum and i am sure we all have seen it all b4!!!!

it doesnt sound like your waters are leaking but that is a possibility for sure hun, I havent noticed anything similar to what you describe this time around although i remember being very damp all the time before ds was born , im pretty sure its normal increase in discharge from the vagnina rather than from the cervix

im noticing alot more discharge now days. i occasionally feel a little gush and i'll rush to the toilet to find it is watery dischage. my midwife said its totally normal!

also, if it is leaving a BIG wet patch it might be your waters leaking. If it is enough to soak a sanitary towel then go and get checked out! if its only a little bit, its nothing to worry about, but go and get checked to clear your head if your worried. they see it all the time!

yea no i defo didnt think it was my waters isn't "watery" enough for that! i've had increased discharge since ages ago that always seems to wet my undies, but its just kinda turned itself up a notch i guess, its the smell that made me wonder

but its not colourful! it doesnt smell icky bad just kinda like how sperm smells. (but how i hate the smello of sperm, ick!!!)
I'm not worried at all, just wondering if anyone else has this or am i just an abnormal being

I don't go to the hospital for things, we have to ring our midwife 1st b4 we go to the hospital. unless its an emergency ofcourse lol!

Hi, I know i am completely unqualified and far too inexperienced to really comment, Just wanted to say that I remember reading a really useful thread a loooong time ago about "things they don't tell you in pregnancy" and one of them was that waters smell a lot like bleach (which is also how I'd describe a spermy smell lol)

So I would of said it is def worth a call to your midwife to let them know and see what they say.

My MW said that waters smell a bit sweet - and a bit like straw does. Sometimes my discharge smells a bit bleachy- depends what I've eaten I think! Lol. Not as strong as sperm though. Try lying down for a while then getting up, if it's your waters you should get a gush when you stand up x

its getting rediculous i had to get up coz it kept wetting my undies and i was wearing a pad even, and when i rolled over in bed it would trickle out and i have wet spots on my bed

its down my legs abit too but when it dries it feels kinda stinky? its quite fluidy like water but slightly thicker like abit slimy.??
