Hi hun,
I'm planning on taking it.
I'll start at 32 weeks with 1 cup of tea a day then work up to 4 cups per day. You can also drink it during labour.
I have already stocked up on it, You can get it from Holland & Barett health food store.

I dont suppose I'll ever know if it will work in making the 2nd stage of labour quicker but I'm kind of willing to try anything to help me out.

Jo xx

I've been drinking it since 32 weeks - cup a day to start, 2 cups a day from 34, 3 from 36 and then perhaps 4 - if I can manage it! - from 38 weeks! No idea if it works but have read really good things about it so def worth a try. Perhaps you could find some on the internet that will deliver to you?

Morning Hun,
At my antenatal classes at the weekend, the MW said she strongly recommends taking it as it can't do any harm and although there is no scientific evidence at this stage, it does seem to help Second Stage. However she did say, not to start with one cup until about 35 weeks and then go to 3-4 cups at 37 weeks.
So I am due to start taking any day now.

IForgot to mention that I have bought mine from an online health food shop on E-bay! No where near me sells it. If you want the website, then PM me and I'll send it to you.

I plan on getting the tablets from Holland & Barrett cos I don't like any form of tea!! You can buy these online easily!

I've read so many threads about this though and there does seem to be a real differing opinion as to when you should start taking it..

Lots of people suggest from 32 weeks, but I have also seen some mw's suggest from 35 wks.

I guess I will speak to my mw next week... who will no doubt confuse me even more!!

I've been drinking two cups per day since 32 weeks and will probably try to increase it to three or four now. I bought mine at Holland and Barrett, but you can also buy it on eBay for a bit more. I can't stand it in tea form, so I make it up with a tiny bit of water, let it cool and then top it up with lemonade.

I started with a cup a day at 34 weeks and I'm now on 2 cups a day. Probably try 3 a day next week but it's hard to remember when you're busy! I've noticed a slight increase in BHs and general aches, but not sure if it's because of the RLT or just because I'm getting closer to the end now

I take the tablets as I am not a tea or hot drink person. Started a week ago.
