Anybody else with a baby lying LOL or ROL? (aka LOT/ROT)

Left/right occiput lateral/transverse?

Meaning their back is to one side of your belly, and their head is in your pelvis but facing the side as opposed to towards your back (anterior) or your front (posterior)?

Also wondering if anybody has had this with previous babies and how your labour went? Was it more drawn out or what? Baby just seems to be most comfortable like this and has been in this position for awhile now, since about 27 weeks?

x

Mine keeps shifting I think, even though she was 2/5 engaged at last MW appt. Pretty sure I can feel her head over my left hip this morning and during the night I'm sure I felt v strong kicks on the front of my tummy, which I'm assuming means she is/was back-to-back

the position above looks not too far from 'ideal' though, I should imagine it'll be easy for LO to turn in labour as the contractions force them into a better position x

hi there - over the last few days ive been having really bad pains under my rib cage, so last night i went to the midwife just to get checked over. She told me that the baby is all to the right side of my body - her spine is in line with my rib cage causing pressure / pain, and her head is down in my pelvis. Midwife said theres nothing to do except take pain killers. She said its very unlikely baby will turn again
xx

I wouldn't worry about OT positions at all. In my experience alot of women's babies are in the OT position in labour. Its the OP positions that are more inconvienent for the pelvis etc.

My lo is L.O.L at my last appointment i dont think it makes a difference what side they are on when you give birth as they turn on the way down but my last labour was only 2 hrs 30 mins i dont notice as many movements tho with baby in this position

My LO is LOT at the mo and has been for ages. The midwife mentioned how he was laying at my appointment today, but only in a "there's his bum and his legs are here" kind of way. She didn't seem concerned about his position and didn't give me any advice on moving him.
