eating habits?

i just read i should be having several small meals a day as our digestion has slowed down because of hormones...i dont seem to have altered the number of meals I'm havign a day...it's still pretty standard..breakfast lunch and dinner with little snacks between..is this bad?
I mean - will a big dinner cause extra weight gain?
hmm...maybe I'll be having to change my ways...i'm always happy to have more dinners!! (Though i must remember to make them smaller!! I still seem to be able to fit a full size one in at the mo and havent suffered any indigestion or heartburn yet!)

have you changed your habits greatly?

I thinkt thats ok yeah.

The way I see it your body tells you when it's hungry or when it needs something so *shrugs* thats what Ive been doing lol

The only thing Ive changed is that Im trying to eat fruit and veg as snacks instead of crisps or choccy.

Mine has changed itself. Up until last week I was able to eat huge amounts for dinner. Then all of a sudden I've started to get really full really quickly. I read it's to do with hormones and also position bubs is in means my organs including my stomach are squished up all teeny weeny so I guess there's just less space to fill

Whatever works for you! If you can still eat big meals - lucky you! I cook my dinner and tuck in excitedly, only find i fill up before i am halfway through - then i get hungry half an hour later and go on a hunt for snacks. Lately I have been waking up at 1-2am starving despite eating tons before i went to bed!

The more full you are when you eat the more heartburn you get.

I can't go an hour without any food! I have turned into a proper grazer!

Mine changed itself yesterday. Up untill then I was eating 3 times a day and quite large amounts. Yesterday, I was filling up so quickly, and then getting hungry 2-3 hours later. Today has been the same.

I've had a huge appetite my whole pregnancy, i find lately though that i'm not starving like i used to be coming up to my lunch/dinner and can go longer without feeling hungry. I'm still eating three big meals a day tho and the odd magnum here and there

My appetite is different from day to day. There are days where I am just starving and want to eat anything in sight and then I have days where I can go hours without eating. I have been choosing the wrong things to eat though (all the fatty foods that don't stick with you, a lot of emty calories). I need to eat healthier, but can't help but to crave grease and sweets. I do eat healthy foods to, but it just seems like I don't eat enough healthy foods (fruits and veggies). Sorry for rambling. Hopefully I can get my eating habits back to normal before baby arrives so I can get a head start on losing weight.
