Any Ideas?

Sorry to moan...... but these last couple of days i have been really tired, headaches and i went to bed feeling sick last night, which is unusual for me because i haven't had any sickness, i am also getting very hot. One of my ankles is really hurting too causing me to limp a bit but i can't remember going over on it or anything.

Is this normal? is it a normal pregnancy thing? Or should i tell my doctor about it? I can't see my midwife until next thursday

You sound similar to how I've been feeling since the weekend. I phoned my M/W yesterday about it as I also experienced a few cramps in my tummy. She seemed to think I probably have a tummy bug.

I feel lousy and although I haven't been sick now for 24 hours, I feel VERY tired, been getting a niggly headache off and on all week, was so hot last night I had to get the fan out....

So don't know if it's a pg thing or a bug.... but you're not alone hunny!

The other thing it could be is hay fever.... that can make you feel pretty damn tired.. you can get symptoms that make you think you've got a cold!

And with the weather being as it's been the last few days (I assume you're in the UK!!) it's a breeding ground for pollen and germs!

I am also very tired. Normal for preggie women. I can sleep all day long easily.Being hot is also normal. You have a LOT more blood circulating in your veins now and your body is doing double duty.

I'd not panic unless you're really throwing up lots and lots.
I seem to be hitting some sort of symptom wall this week - i feel so heavy, even get tired turning over in bed and I've had all sorts of aches and today -my belly feels so full it might burst - there's a tight pulling feeling around my belly button. I guess I'm just getting weighty and full. I also felt a little sickly the other day, adn I've not felt sick since about week 11 or so.
I have hot flushes and had a cuople of massive ones recently when i've been out for dinner - have to waft with the menu and dream of taking my shoes off!
I also took yesterday off work and slept an extra 4 hours during the day...grrreat it was! I could sleep for ever....except when i feel too heavy and my hips and arms go numb...pft...

I'm assuming this is just third tri ailments....but keep an eye on your sickness and make sure to tell MW next week just in case. thats what i'd say.

xx
