I'm Currently Feeling: | Had glucose / diabetes test this morn ..and just to say it wasnt as bad as I'd thought. Having a huge glass of sugary water wouldnt be my ideal choice of breakfast but it wasnt as awful as I'd feared - just tasted like water with some icing sugar in it.
So there we go. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I never had a glucose test. My doctor said it's not necessary as high BP is a good indication of gestational diabetes and I had normal BP. I wouldnt of minded to have it done though. Well, good luck with your results! Hope they are normal! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I didn't mind the drink so much but it was the three hours sitting in the clinic. BORING! I had the test done when pregnant with my first child and I still remember it well. LOL |

I think the only way to be certain is to at least have the 1 hour test. I was really surprised I have it.
tinytoes, hope your levels are normal |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Good luck TT.
My midwife does the GD test totally different. No drink. I gave a bit of blood, had a big ole breakfast, waited 2 hours, and then did another finger prick. Done! I love her!!! |

I love her!!! | That's how my midwife did things with my first pregnancy! I don't understand the fasting/high glucose drink. I think it gives inaccurate results. |
