Well, I fell down the stairs last night, at about 6pm. I went right down them, but on my arse. Then when I moved about half hour later I felt something in my tummy tear.
At 20.30 my BH got quite strong and at 21.00 my OH got home and put me to bed. We didn't go up to the hospital because unless you go up in day time hours they just sit you waiting for hours on end until they can get someone to quickly check you over and get you home, so I waited till this morning.

Went up in agony, pains everywhere. They monitored me in the day assessment unit, the babys heart rate changed rapidly from anywhere between 109-165 bpm. Then the "tightness" went from 11 to 65, but they said she was okay, and they think it could just be that I tore my muscles, but they sent me to Triage to be safe. Didn't wanna leave, they were all so nice and caring.
Got there, got left waiting for half hour crying my eyes out in a chair, then taken in and looked over. She then said I had to wait for another half hour and take some Codydramol, and if I was still in pain I had to be admitted. Well, I sat down to wait for my half hour, and 2 hours later someone finally came and got me. I was still visably in pain, still shaking, still crying, and she said "Well I think we'll send you home."

Well, now all I can think is why the HELL didn't I just refuse to leave?

I get that the baby is okay, but I'm in so much pain, everywhere across my tummy. She's moved right down, and when they checked me over the only thing she said was.
"Your pulse is 100, and I don't THINK the baby is engaged" and thats it. I was sent on my way and told to go back if it gets worse.

Why does it seem every hospital has that stance? "Go home and come back if it gets worse"

I know, but they literally just sit me there for hours and do nothing. They're 'sure' the baby is fine, and that I've just torn muscles, which I get, but she's hardly moving and I'm in pain EVERYWHERE. Mostly in my groin, which I didn't hit. Why don't they listen? ='(

Can you not phone and speak to your midwife now? If not - go back to the hospital, there will be a new set of staff on which can make a massive difference sometimes... you must ask them why you have the pains you have and raise your concerns really firmly to them x

get yourself back to the hospital, demand to be seen and tell them your not leaving till you are completly satisfied that everything is ok

Please go back in. Make them help you. If A&E aren't being helpful could you go up to the labour ward in case anyone there is more helpful or insists on the A&E staff helping you?
