OOPS was I not supposed to fast for glucose screening test?

I thought I had to fast...but now reading online it seems like I didnt have to. Seems I only have to fast for the 3 hour which Im getting on Monday...

Could fasting have given me a false positive?

Im not sure if its different where you are but here theres 2 test.. an hour one which i don't have to fast but no sugar stuff and the 2 hour one (which im not having) which you are meant to fast for

Ya, the 1 hour test that you are not supposed to fast for I fasted for! And I failed.

Does this mean that the fail may be due to the fact that I fasted?

Maybe my results were really normal but because I fasted I threw them off? LOL

Hey, Im from Canada too and I just did my test last week (1 hour) and no you don't have to fast. I know if you fail they send you for the 3 hour which you fast. Not sure if fasting woulda caused it but you'll know for sure from the next test. Good luck!
