Preventing Heartburn - may make you laugh!

My heartburn has been AWFUL today. Before being pregnant, I never had heartburn, so its a new thing, and I hate it.

Anyway, tonight I thought I would look online to see other then taking Rennies could I do anything to prevent. So I read there were foods which trigger heartburn. These include, Chocolate, Tomatos, Tomato based food, Citrus fruits and juice, mustard, salt and highly seasoned food.

So ill tell you what I ate today, and see if you notice anything:

Lunch - tomato pasta, followed by 2 satsuma oranges
Tea - Pork and mustard sausages followed by a wee chocolate pudding!

Some fruit juice through the day - orange to keep up my vit C in take.

Basically all the foods which are triggers

Better luck tomorrow

Ah i hate the heart burn, its always worse when you have eaten or drank something that triggers it. I have just avoided acidy drinks, which seems to have done the trick for me, although i think i may just have to get some gaviscon just in case.

I have been told the same. So we will have to see if our info is right at 36+ weeks
