I didn't bother. I trust my body to know what's right and I've done the research I needed to do.

My Husband and I are going to attend the free NHS classes that the hospital are running but there are only two classes and a third visit to see the hospital ward. We're only attending these because I hope that hearing the details from an "expert" will help my husband to keep calm and not panic when it happens and not try and rush me straight to hospital at the first sign of a twinge!

I was booked to go but then I forgot.

I think that with everything you read in books and on the internet, they aren't so important as they once were.

I've been swotting up at home, watching documentaries etc etc. I've already seen the delivery suites as i had an accident a few months ago and the midwife showed me round whilst i was there. Don't think i am going to bother with the classes

I think they're still useful for some people. Like my sister - she's pregnant with her 5th and doesn't even know how to bath a baby!! She wants my mum to show her when her baby is born.

We decided to go to the free ones. Mainly because I don't know anyone from around here and I thought I might meet some people.

We had our first one last night, how wrong was I. I think I was the youngest person in the room by about 10 years and i got horrible looks from everyone. It seemes very cliquey.

Was quite interesting though Next week Ill just tell them where to get off if they give me funny looks again.

xxx
