Really sore Pelvis/private area?

It started this morning, but has been getting worse throughout the day, Its gotten so sore i was in tears earlier when i was trying to walk. (iv now given up on trying to walk as it is tht sore) I did quite a bit of walking yesterday and not sure if this could of caused it?
Also, baby seemed to have dropped the other day so could it maybe be due to that?
Iv taken paracetamol which didnt help in the slightest... Im n so much pain, even turning over in bed is agony. Any1 any ideas? x

What does that mean?? Ive been going through the same thing,.. and I notice when I do alot of walking, or housecleaning, or anything that over exerts myself it makes it so muchj worse. And, ya, even rolling over in bed is painfull!!!

Thanx for this thread, lol, sometimes I feel alone on things till I read here that other ppl are suffering from the same things!

One thing I found that kinda helps, is the belly belt thingy,.. it helps to hold some of the pressure of the pelvis.

Oh poor you -I feel your pain

Does sound like spd -there is a thread over in pregnancy club forum with lots of info, if you are interested.

Meantime, get a physio referral -they'll gie you advice re: do's and dont's, core strengthening exercises, and will asses you for a support belt, crutches or whatever is needed.

Here's a few tips meantime
Try and keep knees together getting in/out of car, bed etc
Dont stand on one leg, sit down to put on / take off trousers, shoes etc
Go up stairs with baby steps, one at a time.
Don't push shoping trolley / or hoover

Oh yeah -and a heated wheatbag helps relieve the pain

I have spd, on crutches for past 5 weeks... with 18weeks still to go.

xx

It could be SPD or like you say because baby has dropped may just be due to that, I would get checked out by your midwife to be sure.
