What on earth is in the water?

There seem to be so many ladies having pains regularly, painful BH's, bloody shows all really early. Me included! I know just a year ago there weren't so many I'm sure. It's sooooo weird!

Stay cooking those april may june babies we don't want too many preemies! YOur safer where YOU are I promise!

I know, I was in hospital at 31 weeks with pre term labour. Very scary experience. Thankfully it's all stopped, so I've just been advised to rest. Fingers crossed baby will stay put for a few more weeks.

It's good to know there are lots of others in the same position. I never had any of this with my 1st baby!

Wish i hadsome kinda show or pains.. all ive had til now is a few cramp and painful kicks lol .. No BH or anything.. no show.. like I say just a few cramps

Hope i dont go too far over..!

I jus wanted to now when you are in preterm labour is it the same feeling as full term laour or a bit different cos of lack of baby more space etc etc?

No its not!

Well it wasnt for me, the pain was different. Really low in the bottom of my bump and in my hips and lower back

Hmmm oh dear cos thats the only thing thats been keeping me from getting checked the fact it doesn't feel like normal labour.

I've been having pains (low in tummy, and round my lower back.) most nights but yesterday they started at about midday and were on and off for a while, i went to sleep had nothing really until lunch and then got pains again. Then had tizzy with DF and got the most biggest spasm in my back. Now I'm getting sharp pains now and again but cldn't really say how often and they go all around my back and lower tummy. MY tummy feels really tight inside but doesn't feel as tight from the outside if that makes sense.

OH er, lol I'm not sure whether to bug hospital or not now, cos it always seems such a waste of my time they are rather rubbish! The pains aren't in a pattern and not getting more painful as such.

hmmm i was like that. Got pains every day for a few hours then they would stop.

In 'proper' labour, my bump didnt go all over hard like normal labour and the pain was just bottom half or my bump

Get checked hun xx

hey sorry I pm'd you the same thing. I feel like a blomin idiot haha having had two children already! It's probablynothing but I keep putting it off just thinking it can't be possible.

Anyway lol see what I mean, I didn't mean this thread to turn into my question time, but it's crazy, there's so mnay posts on women with pains etc. It's soooo weird!

I agree, it's worth getting it checked out.

With me I had irregular pains for a few days which I put down to BH, but then one afternoon they intensified, completely took my breath away and were coming every 10 minutes. Once we got to hospital they were every 3 minutes. The contractions started in my lower back, moved around to my lower bump and spread to my hips and upper thighs. My bump went very hard with every pain.

Now every little pain stops me on the spot as I think it's back!

Hope everything settles down for you and baby stays put for a few more weeks xxx
