Hi when i went to mw a couple of weeks ago my baby was lying back to back and he was not engaged at that time, She recommended that i sat on the ball for 30 mins every day i did bounce aswell lol, when i went to my last appointment baby was lying the correct way and was 2/5 engaged. I got mine from tescos for £5

Yeah i got the one from argos... the davina one for a tenner. I was worried about bursting it and the davina one has a pretty high weight limit so i feel safe

Dont worry hun, i always say asda and argos wrong!

Just make sure your legs are apart. Even if you are just sitting cross legged on the bed, it is advised to put your heels together. I always am aware of my pelvis position these days! The wider you spread your legs, the more open your pelvis is so the baby can descend. And it is very lady like

oh... to all the girls out there wondering... the ball generally needs to be at least 65cm. Anything shorter wont help bubs descend as your knees need to be higher than your ppelvis to get them in the right place

ETA I just realised when typing another post that the knees lower than the pelvis is to make sure bubs gets in the right position on your left side not for engaging pregnancy brain. Any squatting helps with engaging, but beware of back to back babies!

my neighbor used one last time and i am going to borrow it this time, last time i had an induction and was strapped to the bed so i couldnt use a ball, and i did not have contractions at home, i am hoping the ball will help with the contractions at home.
