I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Recently a friend of mine was very sick and went into liver failure at 30 weeks pregnant and they had to do an emergency c-section...the baby was a little over 2 pounds. He was on something to help his lungs for a little while but he ended up getting off that and he's fighting strong. He's doing well. At my 20 week scan they thought they saw something wrong with my LO's kidneys ...saying there was extra fluid around it and said that worst case scenerio that she would need to be drained with some sort of tube at delivery but I went back for another ultrasound so they could check and they said the fluid around her kidneys hasn't increased and said everything looked fine. I'm sure all will be fine with you also.. I'll be thining of you.

I'm so sorry Charlotte and hope that today you walk away from that scan with some better news than you've gotten the last couple of days. You are strong and your little boy is strong. You will be in my prayers

You have done nothing wrong to deserve this. these things just happen. Not every baby is born perfect and there has to be strong people out there to cope and love them back to full health. It is seriously hard to stay optimistic, but he is still your baby and you will be there for him and love him just as much.

You have been through so much already in such a small space of time - remember your feelings are mixed with panic and shock and this will pass leaving you clear headed and ready to take it all on.

I hope things turn out for the better and you have the strength to cope! Even if he comes out perfect - it is a long road of worry and i wish you a zillion

My thoughts are with you and your LO sweetheart. There is nothing you did or did not do for this to happen. You have taken great care of yourself and your baby through out your pregnancy. You have made it so far, and you Lo will be given the best care if he needs to make an early entrance.

We are all thinking of you!!!
