I think my baby may have just gone breech...

I got a lot of movement and now I swear I can feel her head...differently. farther up. If she has gone breech at this point will she stay that way??? I hope not! My mom had to have a c-section with me because I went breech

I know people that had breech babies up until d-day and then turned so I would say it is quite possible for baby to turn yet. Especially as you are still nearly 30 weeks. When is your next midwife appointment? she will be able to feel and defiantly tell you whether it is actually the head u are feeling xx

Mine was breech the whole time. Do you feel lots of movement down below now? Eamon used to kick really low and headbutt me in the ribs. If baby's head is up high it will feel bigger than their bottom did when they were head down xxx

Might be her bum or her crossed knees you are feeling too hun, there have been times i have felt big lumps in my bump- her bum, and then "what is that!? Is that her head?" but each time i have gone to see my midwife which is 1ce a week she is dropping lower and lower down so no it wasn't her head i was feeling. They are so squashed and curled up in there goodness knows what we are feeling half the time lol x

I echo MissMuffett. Baby H has been head down the since 23 weeks and I am always worrying he has moved as I can feel something large and round towards my ribs but when I asked my midwife 2 weeks ago, she confirmed he was still head down and that was his bum. Also, she said babies have been known to suddenly turn at the last minute or even at the start of labour.

my midwife told me they dont worry abt it til u r 34wks, if they suspect a breech presentation then they refer u 4 a scan and if it is confirmed breech u see the consultant. it doesnt necessarily mean a c section. the consultant can try 2 turn the baby by ECV and even if it does not turn u could still have a vaginal birth if the consultant thinks it is safe. my midwife told me if my baby was still breech i would have a good chance at a vaginal birth as i have had 2 good sized babies naturally and so long as the baby was frank breech then i could prob try 4 a vaginal birth. they do a lot of breech births here coz there is a big jewish community and jewish women apparently dont seem 2 want c sections as they want large families so the consultant is pretty experienced in breech births.
