lol I was just tri-hopping and browsing this thread and I remembered when I was originally discussing my birth plan with OH I mentioned wanting a water birth. He said "you can't do that because then I can't take my Nintendo DS in the pool with you". I'm still not entirely sure how much of that is joking...

KamKoi, I think it's good for him to be informed about all these things and maybe a wee bit of preparation, but not to get too caught up in the details as in the end, the best thing he could do is just BE there for you. That's the whole point at the end of it - that your partner, co-creator in this life, is there to share the experience and the moment with you.

Also just tell him to do whatever you say, and you'll be grand. Haha
