you need to get scrubbing the floors!! lol joking but getting on your hands and knees can help give baby a bit more room to move

also you maybe offered a procedure to try and move baby head down, doent always work and they can move them but then baby decides the prefer being breech xx good luck in turning baby

My LO's been head down since I started seeing my OB at 20 weeks. Then, out of the blue, I wake up 2 mornings ago, and he's oblique! (sideways!) He stayed like that right up until just after noon yesterday, when he flipped back.
My OB said it's not as common in this late stage, but still fairly normal for LO to be flipping around. Hopefully he decides to stay head-down from now on!!

Hiya hun, I wouldnt worry too much... I had myself going crazy as i was told baby was breech at 33 weeks and as my mother had me by emergency C-section cos i was breech it sent me in a huge panic! I was convinced i would be going down the same route as my mother until I had my 35 week appointment in which my MW happily announced baby was head down and nearly fully engaged!

She also said Ill probably go early so to have everything ready! (Not holding my breath tho!) Dont worry yourself till about 36weeks, your LO will most likely turn without you even noticing!

xxx

Hey Hun I'm the same as you. My girl was breach at 20 weeks and had turned at 31 weeks but I think she has gone back to breach. I'm so not comfy but I think she likes to be in this position. I don't think I'd want them to turn her anyway as I've heard it can be very painful and stress out baby, also they can turn back so I've accepted now that I might need a section. I hope I don't but I think I've prepared myself mentally just in case
xx

I was told this week baby is breach and have a scan booked for 36 weeks (next friday ) to check. I like you had never thought about a planned section but have got it into my head at least i can take what I need to be comfortanble for a longer hospital stay, arrange the house accordingly, bring changing table downstairs etc, make sure more food is cooked etc. Im thinking it better for ME to be in pain from a section rather than risk distressing the baby with a EVC so am now 'ok' a the idea of the possibily of a section.

my baby was breech at last appointment and midwife says they only do something about it after 34wks when the do a scan and if it is confirmed breech then consultant can try 2 turn it using ECV and if it doesnt turn then there's still a chance of vaginal delivery if it is a frank breech. i will def be trying 4 a vaginal birth even if baby is breech as i have had 2 uncomplicated births with big babies. the chance of a cord prolapse woth frank breech is 0.5% as opposef 2 0.4% with normal head down position so not really a significantly raised risk. however if it is a footling breech then the chance of cord prolapse is 15-20% so would have 2 be a c-section i guess.

hey hun, do you know if this is your hospitals policy? i was taken down for an unplanned caesarean, my oh was with me. I didnt end up having one in the end, they tried forceps first and this was successful but he had the scrubs on etc ready for a section. Get in contact with your hospital about this.
My son was breech the whole time and he was one on the few that didnt turn by 37 weeks so i opted for the ecv as i felt the same as you re having a section. The ecv was successful, have you considered having one if need be?
As the other girls have said you do have plenty of time for baby to turn on their own

I was honestly convinced that my baby wouldnt turn and id end up needing a c-section, I did all the research on them and posted a million threads on here asking about them!

Also I was positive that id know if she'd turned, everyone was saying at this stage id definitely know because of her size, but I didnt.

Try not to worry about it, the best way to make them turn is to relax!

You'll be fine hun xxxxx
