Hiya Ladies, Went today for my 32 week growth scan, Ive been havin them for the past two months cos they couldnt feel her properly through my chubby belly .
Urine, FHB and Blood pressure were all fine which was great, but they said again she is gonna be a biggun. She weighs 5.5LBS now and is measuring as a 36 weeker and I'm only 32 and half. I've got to go back on 20th May (4 weeks) for another scan and they should be able to tell me then if her size will hamper my chances at a natural birth. Ive only put on 1Kg in the past few months too so all the eating I've been doing she's been stealing from me!

I've known people to deliver 11lb babies naturally. If u want to do it, you can.

Wow that is a big baby! She might slow down towards the end though, you never know!

Yeah I really wanted to do it naturally if possible, the only way I would willingly accept their intervention would be if it was dangerous for me or her not to have the help. Fingers crossed She'll come the old fashioned way (altho I may change my mind when trying to push her out lol ) xXx

I had a 9 and half pounder naturally. Why did you have to have another scan, was it because you're measuring big for dates.

They said my flabby belly was a problem for them to get proper measurements of the baby so they wanted to scan me instead. Maybe they have continued to to do them monthly cos she's a big baby. xXx

WOW! Already 5.5lbs! Are they sure that your due date is accurate? Maybe your really due sooner?

Lol I asked that too but they said they won't change my dates. I spose I'll just have to wait and see when she turns up and live with the back ache till then. xXx
