OT - OMG so angry.. just wanted to get it out!

Yesterday I thought Id order myself some new summery clothes as I haven't treated myself in ages!!

So I found a really really nice outfit and I payed for next day delivery so I didn't have to sit in for days waiting for it to come.

So I knew I was getting it today. And I have been bored sh**less waiting for it.

Then 10 minutes ago, I was sitting in the back room and I heard something come through the door. Went to see what it was, expecting a paper or a bit of junk mail, and it was a bloody note saying 'we miss you today when we called to deliver'!!!

What the hell??? They didn't even ring the door bell!!

I opened the door, to see if I could catch the delivery bloke, and he literally looked at me and drove off!

I feel like crying. I have re-organised for it to be delivered tomorrow, but that means me sitting around for another day !!!!

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! The tears are actually building up in my eyes im that angry!

Sorry, just thought Id share!!

Thats so annoying, and you paid for next day delivery? I'd ring up and complain you might get your money back. I've seen delivery drivers put notes through neighbours letter boxes before even knocking!

Royal Mail does this crap all the time (we have a good postie now but it happened a few times where we lived before). I don't know what the advantage of them doing it is. I'd find out the postie's name and put in a formal complaint. And, being me, I'd also have a go at him the next time I saw him!

The delivery company is called 'Home Delivery Network'.
The annoying thing is, I want to complain but the only number I have got for them is the automated service you call to re-arrange a delivery date!
Can't I speak to a human these days??

press zero to talk to human Keep yelling at them and you'll get it for free, if doesn't work call the company that you ordered it from, yell at them and get the shipping refunded. My OH always does that if something goes wrong and the house is filled with coupons, discounts, free stuff - it's a hobby of his lol

Just out of curiosity why do you need summer outfits delivered asap if you don't know your size after bubs and it's not even summer yet? I am not buying anything until I know my size exactly and know that my body hasn't changed much. Everybody I talked to, except for my way too lucky mom, said they couldn't wear their old clothes and their bodies have changed in one way or another.

That happened to me with a Babies r Us order. I paid for next day delivery. They use DHL where you can track on line. I waited in three solid days in a row and kept checking the tracker and three days in a row they went back to the depot without delivering the item.

After about 48 hours searching I eventually managed to find a phone number for DHL Express which said it was a 'security' company, but I phoned it anyway - spoke to a human and went my absolute dinger at him. Then I felt bad, cos i wasn't his fault so I apologised for shouting at him, but he could see my point. We ended up having a lovely chat, he assured me the driver would be disciplined and he gave my parcel to someone who has to pass my village on his way home and he delivered it to me that way.

Sometimes shouting does get you what you want.

HOWEVER - I e-mailed Babies r Us on all of the three days when the parcel didn't arrive since I'd paid them for the next day delivery and to this day I haven't as much as had the courtesy of a response. Made me so mad so I refuse to buy any more from them.
