i'm on my own too. Have two children already by previous relationship (ages 11 and 14) and this one was a surprise. But FOB doesn't want anything to do with the baby or me. It's been difficult not having someone there through my pregnancy. I miss being able to talk to the father of my baby about pregnancy issues. This baby's father just isn't involved at all. i find it hard to understand why he wouldn't want anything to do with her?

Aww hun I know how you feel, it just isnt the same not having the daddy there is it. Sounds like youll have a happier life without him if he isnt interested..... easier said than done tho. They say alot of men get 'SCARED' and find it easier to ignore the truth but we still have to deal with it eh! Ive been quite lucky as I have 3 sisters (one who is expecting in Sep) and all we seem to do is talk about baby stuff!.... Men who needs them!!! xxx

Hey! Im also alone. FOB is messing around alot. One minute he wants to be involved, next he doesn't. We was together for the first 30 weeks of my pregnancy, but he NEVER helped out. I brought everything (even though he works a full time job and I am claiming benefits), and he never around the house or anything.
We split up after he found someone else, and wanted to be with her rather than me and his son.
Finding it very VERY difficult to move on at the moment, but im sure once my son is born he will realise how precious he is and hopefully be involved. If not, I have my son & he is the only man I need in my life!

Glad to know there are so many other girls around without the support of an OH.

X

Me me me! I'm going it alone! Baby's father doesn't want anything to do with me or baby, which is fine by me - he's the one missing out! Havent heard off him since I text him after 12 week scan to tell him everything was ok and he replied "Hope everything fine" and that's it!

Due in less than 2 weeks now and couldn't have done it without my friends and family!xx
