However I have discovered the following always helps to relieve it.

I lay down on the floor, no pillow or anything and slowly let my back settle back into a natural position. It can really hurt to begin with as my spine clicks and creaks. However after about 5 minutes or so I find the shooting pains have stopped and things are feeling better.

I had to do this in the office the other day, my managers walked in and wondered what I was up to!!

Hope this helps if you decide to give it a go.
xx
I tried this. Felt lovely when i was laying down but couldnt get back up again! lol next time i try ill wait for Dan to be home to help me up! haha! x

Yeah i found it a breeze at the beginning! DD was the perfect pregnancy n i was hoping this one would follow suit! No such luck! lol. He's such a little rascal already! Reduced movements, severe backache, possible rupture of membranes, loss of mucus plug, anaemia and now this! lol He will be worth it all though! Cant wait
Hope your LO calms down for Mummy too!! Not nice when ya not feeling great.

sounds like sciatica I had this before I got pregnant and I can totally sypathise at times its just horrendously painful! The only thing that helped was moving about trying to move the trapped nerve, gentle movements like stretching xxx

Defo Sciatica it bloody kills! There is a pressure point on your bum cheek that helps it if you press it.
