At night time my contractions can be horrible and close together but start to calm down around 1ish so I can get some sleep, of course when I wake up they are mild again. I've been like this since last Monday....it's driving me nuts.

I've been getting very strong tightening in my bump, back ache and the odd sharp shooting pain which feels like it's in my cervix, it happens every night, it starts about 8pm. I wake up and its all gone..

I've also been like this for about a week.. It's really annoying.. I don't know if its nothing or the start of something..

My OH is constantly looking at me saying "Just tell me are you in labour, yes or no".

I keep telling him "I DON'T KNOW I'VE NEVER BEEN IN LABOUR BEFORE IN MY LIFE"

Hopefully we wont go on like this that much further.

That reminds me of every morning as I open the post, OH stands over me and asks what is it before I've even got it out the envelope. If I was psychic and knew what was in the envelope - why would I be opening it!?

I have been having the same strong contractions (tightening and horrible cramping) at night, also. Mine hits me right before I go to bed and lasts all evening, making me toss and turn in agony. By morning (after a shower) I feel fine and make it through the day with the occasional BH's and cramping. I just hate the teasing....!!

ive been getting a few strange pains also mainly at night , i hope i dont go over due tho xxxx

AMEN! I am so ready to be done, but I have a good feeling that he is going to make me go overdue. I get contractions every now and then that are regular and then they stop. And then I get them randomly throughout the day... but no real labor signs yet.

I've been getting BH on and off and every now and then I will get a period crampy/back pain with them but they are never regular.

Sounds like babies like to tease us about labor the most when we want to sleep!!

I'm not close enough to get excited about pains yet. Every pain is just a tease and a little nag at what could be!
