Not very exciting though. Just the usual bloods, BP, a feel and a listen. That was it. Don't really know what else I expected.

Heart beat sounded good, a lot faster than normal, BP fine, and baby is head down but not engaged....she said she could feel the head just bobbing above the pelvis and that 2nd babies can engage later on.

Oh, and I didn't know student midwives could take blood. I was pooping my pants when she went to get the stuff, I was like in my head, OMG she's not gonna do is she, but she's was really good.

I felt quite bad at the thoughts I had about being seen by a student, cause it wasn't so long ago I was a student doing things to people that thought I maybe didn't have a clue. However she was quite professional.
